I will just say this now, It does remind me a little bit of Twilight. That will take back on the effect for me.
That is about the only thing I see though.

I absolutly love the colors you used.
The orange hue, contrasts well with the tan in his skin and shirt, along with thicker outline to differentiate the details in the picture.

The way the pose is, is absolutely lovely, I love how you played out the facial features. Her looking surprised at his responce, whereas he looks solom and distant, but caring, and the way you had her positioned in his arms.
Along with it looking like, he wants her to go, but would die without her.

All in all,
A definant, 9 outta 10.
